Tatsu Sushi – Dinner

March 1, 2015 11:30 pm

It’s not easy to find a sushi restaurant that’s open on Sunday but at least there’s Tatsu Sushi at CHIJMES. This restaurant have been around for years and I first tried it for lunch many years back. It has changed quite a bit (different unit even I think) since so it’s time for a new review.

Sushi Tokujyou – $50.00++

9 piece sushi and 1 roll

The other option for sushi platter is the 7 pc one but sushi without the more premium ingredients is not nice. Miso soup is included too. This platter is good.

Aburi Sushi – $40.00++

5 piece seared sushi and 1 roll

This one was really good too. I can’t just choose one item from this platter that’s good because sushi always tastes good with that slight burnt taste. I like the sauce on the roll susi too.

Salmon Aburi Maki – $18.00++

The center of this maki is cheese and I wasn’t really expecting this but it turned out to be delicious.

Overall the sushi quality here is not bad. Probably not the best ever but they have fresh and quality ingredients so that’s good enough. The menu at CHJIMES only offers sushi and sashimi items, no cooked, grilled or fried items at all for dinner service. Asia Square outlet has those items if that’s your preference for Japanese food.
