The last stop for restaurant week: dinner at il Lido!

The usual cost of their 5 course set dinner is $98++/pax or 6 courses for $148++/pax. However, for restaurant week, their 5 course dinner cost only $55++/pax. Counting individual ala carte price, this meal would have cost $129. And all items on the restaurant week menu are actual items on their menu.

Capesante al Guanciale con Crerma di Porri e Pomodorini al Forno

Scallops with Cured Pork Cheek, Leeks Cream and Confit Cherry Tomato

I loved this! I’m a fan of scallops but I’m not being biased. I loved the whole combination of wrapping bacon around the scallop, with the crispy cured pork cheek and the grilled tomato. It was really good.

Garganelli con Crema di Fave e Scamorza Affumicata

Hand-rolled Penne with Fava Bean Cream and Smoked Mozzarella

I loved this too! the beans didn’t taste gross, like they normally would.

Guanciale di Wagyu con Purea di Sedano Rapa e Verdurine Croccanti

Wagyu Beef Cheek with Creamy Celeriac and Crunchy Vegetables

My choice of main course was the wagyu beef cheek.

Filetto di Branzino con Vongole, Fave e Peperoncino Dolce

Pan-roasted Seabass Fillet with Clams, Broad Beans and Sweet Chili

Fondente al Cioccolato con Crosta di Nocciole e Gelato alla Vaniglia

Molten Lava Chocolate Cake with Hazelnut Crust and Vanilla Ice Cream

Espresso, cappuccino (very messily done) and earl grey here.


Ambiance: 9/10

Food: 7.5/10

Value: 8/10 (restaurant week)

Overall: would definitely visit this place again!
