My first visit to Oomphatico’s was a year ago for dinner. Now I’m back for breakfast. I simply love the furnishing of this restaurant.
They serve brunch on weekends, from 11:30am onwards. I was there at 10am, hence I didn’t go for this.
However, for big eaters, the $35++ brunch set is very worthwhile.
You get ice lemon tea, soup, salad, breakfast course (pancakes cost $9 on their menu), main course (pan seared duck breast cost $25 on their menu), dessert buffet and coffee or tea.
But it feels a bit too much for a single person to finish. It’s almost like 2 meals!
- Coffee + pancakes + dessert buffet
- Ice lemon tea + soup + salad + pan seared duck breast
Maybe I’ll try it next time.
They only offered regular coffee or tea
Mixed grill – sausage, grilled Portobello mushrooms, bacon, 2 fried eggs, toast, arugula – $15
It comes with coffee or tea.
Pancake with mascaporne and strawberry – $9
The pancake was HUGE. When I ate 2 pieces of that, I was already 90% full. They were a bit too oily for my liking. I like my pancakes to be fluffy and non oily.
Egg benedicts with smoked salmon – $12.
It comes with coffee or tea
This was my first time trying egg benedicts so I can’t comment much. However, my impression of egg benedicts based on this rendition is good! I shall try out more. And I love smoked salmon.
These 3 dishes were shared amongst 2, and we couldn’t finish. The portions were HUGE. So we’ll just stick to 1 each next time.

Ambiance: 8.5/10
Food: 7/10
Value: 7.5/10
Overall: The food was alright, but possibly not the best place for breakfast. However, it’s worth to try, if you can’t think of anywhere else to go on a rainy day (it’s in a mall so there’s 0 chance of getting wet)
