I had dinner at Fukuichi Japanese Dining (again) which I shan’t post about as it’s just the same old 1855 The Bottle Shop specialises in selling wine. They do have a small selection of hard liquor, sake and champagne too. There was an option to have your wine there as they provide tables and glassware. They provided magazines, mostly food and wine related, for you to read while you have your wine. The food magazines indeed interests me and kept me entertained.
As I prefer my wine to be sweet, we got a sweet red wine, Aleatico Sovana, 2008, Italy.
This 500ml bottle cost $52.
Unlike typical red wines, this has significantly less acid and didn’t have much corrosive feeling in my oral cavity, which is a good thing.
