This is probably the first hamburg steak specialty restaurant in Singapore. On the menu, they only serve 1 item – the hamburg steak, with variations of having it cheese stuffed or not. Each diner must order 1 main course because it comes with a buffet style free flow salad bar and egg station. No sharing or takeaway is allowed.

Plenty of options at the salad bar, but the highlight of my meal would be the eggs station instead. They serve soft boiled egg (onsen), hard boil egg, sunny side up, deep fried egg, turned over fried egg, scrambled eggs, tamagoyaki and omelette. It’s all free flow and all done to such perfection! The eggs station here puts most hotel buffets to shame. The quality of eggs they make is akin to those I’ve had at hotels in Japan.

I tried these 3 eggs and I loved them all. They should totally open for breakfast!

Keisuke Prime Beef Hamburg Steak Set 150g – $18.80++
150g Prime US Beef Patty, Ebi Furai (fried prawn), Tofu with Bonito Flakes, Fried Beancurd (Aburaage), Rice and Miso Soup

Their hamburg steak is entirely made of beef, no pork at all.

Pouring the sauce on the hot plate will cause a sizzle (just look at that steam!), but they provide paper aprons if you’re concerned about the platter on your clothes. They have 4 types of sauces to choose from and I picked the Demi Glace sauce. No regrets, I loved it.

Word of caution: you will come out of the shop smelling like food because of all these sizzling in the air.

Triple Cheese Prime Hamburg Steak Set 180g – $20.80++

For just additional $2, you could get a cheese stuffed hamburg steak. I would recommend this one because the cheese does make a difference! Everything with cheese is always nicer.

For dessert they do have watermelon and coffee jelly at their salad bar. Quite ordinary but still good to have an option.
