Fish Mart Sakuraya

I love sakuraya for their fresh and reasonably priced sashimi and I’ve been there countless times. I usually go to the West Coast Plaza outlet as they have more seating capacity as compared to Parkway Parade’s outlet.

Their sashimi has been consistently fresh and the standard did not dropped over time.

Salmon belly, tuna, swordfish

With green tea and rice, it cost around $42 for 2 pax!

Swordish & Tuna

Salmon belly

Very fresh sword fish and the salmon sashimi

Chawanmushi

Miso soup with clam

Tempura

Not bad, but not the best of its kind.

Saba, shishamo and agedashi tofu

I’d say, other than for sashimi, the rest could be better at Sushi Tei which had an outlet in west coast plaza too.

Not to say that they were terrible, because they were actually yummy. But not to the extent that would impress me.
