Tagliatelle with Bacon and Mushroom – $15.90++
Smoked bacon, button mushrooms, baby spinach and chilli served aglio olio.
It looks like mee pok and to a certain extent, it tastes like mee pok, with the chilli and pork (bacon).
Parpardelle with Blue Cheese – $17.90++
Caramelised pear, toasted walnuts, baby spinach and blue cheese cream sauce.
This was mine. I was intrigued by the blue cheese so I decided to try it. The blue cheese was pungent and tangy as usual and towards the end it was a bit overwhelming for me, because after all, I’m not a die hard fan of blue cheese.
Parpadelle with Mushrooms and Parma Ham – $19.90++
Button mushrooms, spinach, parma ham and cream sauce drizzled with truffle oil
This was the best among everything, in my opinion. This is their signature dish as well. The sauce reminded me of the carbonara at La Strada, which uses truffle butter to. The truffle taste does magic to it. It was very distinguishable. However, my friend found the parma ham too salty for her liking.
Grilled Moroccan Chicken – $15.90++
Grilled chicken thigh marinated with Moroccan spices served with pilaf rice, side salad and tomato olive salsa
This chicken was well marinated and seasoned; the meat was flavourful with spices. It was also grilled to a light crispy surface and it sort of resembled satay chicken, just that it’s not as oily. It’s good that they put in effort to flavour their grilled chicken well, as bland chicken wouldn’t be as palatable.
Asian Spiced Lamb Shank – $21.90++
Stewed in a melange of Asian spices served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Beef Curry Casserole – $18.90++
Tender pieces of beef shin braised in lemongrass served with button mushrooms in a spicy curry casserole with a side of pilaf rice
The beef was indeed tender and the flavour of the curry somewhat reminded me of rendang.

Food: 7.5/10
Value: 7.5/10
Overall: not a bad place for a casual meal. I don’t mind returning to have the truffle oil pasta or trying out their brunch.
