I’ve always been a fan of crêpes and I actually have known about this place for a couple of years but never got down to trying. This place offers French styled crêpes which is similar to what I had in Paris, which I really missed. I’m glad there’s a place in Singapore which serves exactly that, and not crêpes tweaked to losing the French characteristics.
The variety is endless.
Egg, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and herbs from Provence – $14.70+
The savoury one was made with buckwheat flour (gluten free) and while it wasn’t the best in terms of taste and texture, knowing that it’s buckwheat made me accept it happily. The flavours of this combination was quite weak though. I think it’s due to lack of quality ingredients comparing to Paris. I may try other flavours next time instead.
Whipped cream – $9.90+
The sweet crêpe made the meal better! The crêpe had a thin crispy edge which I loved and the surface was slightly buttery and mildly sweet which was perfect. I decided on just whipped cream because I ordered that by accident in Paris and I loved it. If the crêpe is good, excessive ingredients are unnecessary and this one proved it to be true.
