I recently attended the first Sample Store Blogger’s Party and it was hosted at Full of Crab. I’ve been working with sample store as a seeder, reviewing products every now and then and today I finally got to meet the team behind it!
Full of Crab kindly provided the venue and fed all of us really well with the following:
Cajun Wings
Calamri Rings and Sweet Potato Fries
Twiggy Fries
Fish & Chips
And the highlight was definitely the crabs! I’m not sure what flavour they served but the sauce was favourful enough. In this bag there was a Sri Lankan crab, prawns, mini crayfish and corn.
Mini crayfish looks like a mini lobster and because it’s so cute, everyone was taking a picture of it.
For a table of 8 of us, they served sets of the above. I happily stuffed myself with as much as I could but there’s still excess.

Besides the generous flow of food, a photo printing service by FOMO was available at the party too. They are the “World’s First Comprehensive Social Media Photo Booth” and unlike other photo booths I’ve tried at other events, this one is allows you to take your own pictures and it can be sent to their machine for printing via Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter or WeChat. This is a great idea because you don’t have to wait in line to take a picture!
Like my new ears?
Found this cute ears among the props so I decided to give it a try. You have no idea how many shots I took before I decided on a satisfactory one (actually, all girls would understand this). Snapping my own pictures gives me the freedom to do so.
It would be impossible (well possible if I’m shameless enough to hold up the line and waste everyone’s time) to get the event photographer to snap like 20 pictures before deciding on one if it was a typical photo booth. You also get to edit your own photos if you wish (MTXX, filter, add cute stickers) before printing so you won’t get an ugly print out.
I sent this photo via WhatsApp and within seconds it was received by the machine.
And the machine spits out the photos in no time.
This is how it turned out! The border can be customised to suit the event. Printing quality is like a regular glossy photo. Somehow the colour turned out better than my original picture.

The small bottles of Tsubaki Shampoo is perfect when I need to shower at yoga. Same applies to the Aqua Label skincare products.
I participated in their lucky draw and got 4th prize! I looks as if I own the entire range of Ma Cherie hair products now. I’ve wanted to try brand so this is really timely. They smell like flowers and if you’ve very long and chemically treated hair like me you’ll know how important it is to use leave-in treatments on top of daily wash of hair treatments.
