I’ve been to il Lido 3 times for lunch. Me and my dining partner loves this restaurant, save for the slightly inaccessible location at Sentosa Golf Club. However, being secluded from the main island isn’t all a bad thing, because I like the serenity there.

They serve a 3 course set lunch from Monday to Saturday which consists of an appetiser, a main course and a dessert. In addition, a basket of bread, amuse bouche and coffee or tea are included as well.

The appetiser was a choice between a soup and a salad/ something else. The main course was a choice between a pasta, meat or fish. Dessert was fixed.

Complimentary basket of bread. This bread has a biscuit texture and was seasoned with some spices.

Amuse bouche – smoked duck terrine with raspberry sauce

Soup – Tomato soup

Salad – Prawn salad

Meat – Striploin

Fish – Seabass

Dessert – Coffee Panna Cotta

There were options for the type of coffee or tea. I chose my favourite earl grey.

Pasta – Tagliolini with lobster sauce and prawns

According to my partner, this was outstanding and was the best pasta he ever had.

Fish – Seabass

Dessert – Chocolate chestnut tart with berries

Appetiser – fish croquette

Pasta – asparagus and tomato tagliolini. Not as good as the lobster sauce tagliolini!!

Meat – roast duck

Dessert – coffee crème brulee
