I had wanted to check out this booth the moment it opened for business but didn’t have the chance till now. Their booth specialises in selling their signature passionfruit meringue in roll form, both in full size and in slices.

First Kiss – $7.00
Passion fruit mousse, fresh mangoes and strawberries.
I tested the flavours of chocolate black pepper and mango but decided to get the original passion fruit flavour in the end. The whole combination was a blend of tangy and sweet. The meringue was crispier than a pavlova, and as seen from the color, it was baked until brown. It was very crumbly but melted in my mouth. I love meringues, be it in the form of macarons, pavlovas or simple meringue cookies, so of course, I loved this.
The chocolate black pepper flavour was rather creative too. The initial taste in my mouth was a rich chocolately sweetness, but after that was gone, it was succeeded by spiciness of black pepper. I found it interesting.
