With the lack of good restaurants at NEX, we decided to try this restaurant as the nautical theme looked cute. This is like a family oriented restaurant. They even provide chairs for infants and on that day, there were several groups of families having their meals there. I even saw 3 baby prams “parked” outside the restaurant.
I ordered the Lobster set ($34.90++) which comes with half lobster thermidor + a choice of grilled dory, chicken shop, pork chop, lamb or rib eye. Of course I chose the rib eye, after confirming that the portion is about 200g. the set comes with soup of the day, dessert of the day and coffee or tea.
My dining partner ordered the set with 240g US rib eye, for $38.90++.
Cream of broccoli
The soup of the day was cream of broccoli and it was not bad. It was a type of soup I usually like so it’s ok for me. I like how chunks of broccoli was visible inside.
Half lobster thermidor with grilled rib eye steak
In my opinion, the lobster wasn’t very good, as the flesh was mushy instead of succulent. The rib eye was alright. It was pretty normal but still acceptable. It wasn’t overcooked and the meat didn’t taste unfresh.

The presentation of this looks a lot like Jack’s Place’s.
The dessert was just a slice of fruit cake, which I didn’t eat.
Overall, the food is pretty average but for the price, I think there are better options.
