Cafe Melba – Breakfast

Cafe Melba isn’t a typical hipster cafe, but more like a P.S Cafe style kind of place. The location at Goodman Arts Center, Mountbatten isn’t a typical hipster area anyway. I attended the Snoopy Run 2016 at Kallang Wave Mall and Cafe Melba sounded like the best place for a hearty breakfast after our run.

The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, lots of natural light and ample space. The furnishing was nice and not hipster at all. It is the kind of cafe I would go to if I had to.

Very decent eggs benedict, the kind which I wouldn’t mind having again. Except that it isn’t so authentic because they didn’t use Canadian bacon.

We had our breakfast with a carafe of fresh orange juice ($17.00++).

Food: 7/10
Ambiance: 7.5/10
Value: 6/10
Overall: No complaints about anything here except that prices are generally higher than usual. Nice family friendly cafe.
