Crabtree & Evelyn (Pop-Up Cafe) – Tea

This is not an actual food establishment but just a pop-up within Paragon mall in Orchard Road, featuring some of Crabtree & Evelyn food products. I heard that this is the second time this has happened and it was only available for 2 weeks! 16th October is the last day.

Both tea sets are $10nett and members of Crabtree & Evelyn gets 1-for-1! I happen to be a member and thankfully the staff informed me about this promotion.

To beat the crowd, I arrived at 10am when it just opened for business, but sadly the scones weren’t available so early. It was a pity, I was looking forward to try their preserves.

The food products are available in their regular stores too. Patrons of this pop-up cafe gets 20% off regular priced food items!

I tried almost all cookies and the best were the demerara sugar shortbread and the raspberry white chocolate butter cookie. It was so good. I wouldn’t recommend the chocolate chunk butter cookie though – the chocolate chips tastes pretty much like chips ahoy, nothing too special.

I had the Spiced Chai tea and it was presented in a silk bag. Apparently this is their new range of tea and they have large leaves in silk bags. The older range is like regular tag bags with the tea leaves ground up, like most regular tea bags.

Complimentary hand massage using Crabtree & Evelyn hand creams for all customers. What a treat!

The packaging is so nice, I was sold and bought the Earl Grey tea home. Since there’s 20% off, why not!

I went to check out the store too and noticed this promotion where you get a free teacup ans saucer when $120nett purchase. There are 4 colours altogether and each is launched every week.

p1220950-724x900The tea cup is SO BEAUTIFUL! I really wanted that but I would need $480nett of purchase to get all 4, so it doesn’t make sense. And there’s no matching teapot too. Oh well. I wish these were available for purchase!

I’m not sure when the next pop-up will happen but I suppose you can find out from the Crabtree & Evelyn Singapore Facebook page!
