It’s been a few years since Hai Di Lao came to Singapore and despite having 2 other huge outlets now, this restaurant still remains packed and popular. For a Thursday night, reaching at around 8pm, I still had to wait in line for around 1.5h.
The wait was made less painful with seats, tables and activities provided to kill some boredom. I’ve been here a few times so I more or less know what to order.

Black Angus Beef
Fish Fillet
Cod Fish and Vegetable Basket

And of course I had to get the Handmade Noodles.
The standard remained as good as before and is definitely one of the best steamboat restaurants around. The newer Beauty in a Pot which is somewhat modeled after this is still no where near!
